Adding our animations to PowerPoint
presentations is very popular. Our animations can be used in PowerPoint
2000 or newer versions. The animations will not move when you are
creating the presentation. In order to see the animations move, please
play the presentation.
Animations will not play in PowerPoint 97 or
older versions.
Here are instructions on adding animations to
PowerPoint presentations:
STEP 1:
Assemble the graphics you want to use.
For expediency, save all the graphics you
intend to use in the presentation in one folder, including slide
backgrounds, animations and PhotoClips.
STEP 2:
Set up your slides.
The key to making a PowerPoint presentation
fast is to set up your slide master. Click view - master - slide
master. This how you set up the general appearance of ALL your slides.
From the slide master, you can determine the common background, fonts
and where the type appears on the slides.
Backgrounds:
From the pull down menu, click format -
background. A dialog box will pop up. Click fill effects - picture.
Find the folder and select your background.
Clipart and Animations:
From the pull down menu, click insert -
picture - from file. A dialog box will then pop up. Find the folder and
select the appropriate graphics. Add all animations, photographs and
clipart this way.
NOTE:
Do not add animated GIFs through movies and
sounds. Animated GIFs should always be added as a picture. Adding them
as a movie will disable some of their features in some versions of
PowerPoint.
If you're having problems with your graphics
being on top of your text and/or other graphics, there is a simple fix.
At the bottom of your screen, click draw - order and find the
appropriate icon needed to put your graphics in the correct layer
order.
STEP 3:
Transitions.
We found that adding some transitions really gave
the presentation that finished look. Click slide show – slide
transition to bring up the slide show transitions library.
Have Fun!
FYI- Animation Factory is featuring 4 free
animated and non animated Powerpoint templates made by our creative
staff for you to download.
Add an animation to a web page the same way
you would add any picture or photograph. There is no special code
necessary to make an animation play. In some software, you may need to
preview the final page to see the animation move. It is common for the
animation to not move when the page is being edited or created.
We recommend using a good quality web page
builder program, such as MS FrontPage to build your web pages. If you
are using an online web building program, please consult the help
documentation to see how to add pictures to your web page.
